Snaptop - Snap! for Desktop

Snaptop
Snap for Desktop
Snaptop is in beta version.

(Looks like Snap! but a app, I'll update it)
I made a desktop version of snap! with electron.
Website: https://snaptop.sourceforge.io/
Download: Snaptop download | SourceForge.net
Code: GitHub - Snaptop-org/Snaptop-code: Code for Snaptop

I didn't had time to change the icon, I'll change it later

I didn't make a logo yet

whats the point
i can turn off my internet and i can still access snap because it gets cached

You can run it offline, it doesn't need internet, i downloaded the source code and used electron to turn it into a app.

but i can do that with normal snap?

It's just a desktop version of snap!, i will customize it in future updates

Is there a Snap! desktop client?, (I thought of making a snap! app before a saw this topic)

Pretty sure that's actually currently disabled due to some issues that came up with it.

i think thats the app version that comes up when you first open snap, i cant turn off my internet and still access snap

i did that with my tablet

Snaptop download | SourceForge.net, i just created a SourceForge project for Snaptop

I'll also make a website for Snaptop

Snap! has an installable PWA option, which makes a desktop app that works offline without internet connection and still lets you access (almost) all assets and resources, such as costumes, backgrounds, sounds and libraries when offline. I had to disable this for a short time earlier this Fall when a new Chrome version broke it, but it's long been resolved.

Oh, ok. I just didn't recall seeing it being turned back on in any release notes. Well, it's great that the issue was resolved.

ok

I made a logo for Snaptop.

}

I dont think it is allowed to steal turbowarp's logo (and possibly scratch's costumes, as seen in the logo, but i'm not sure about that).

please don't mention that, for your own good (ツ)

you can edit your posts after some activity on the forum, because after you have some activity on the forum, your trust level increases. there are only 2 trust levels that people who are not moderators have, so after it increases once, it wont again.

Also, welcome to the forum!

a few tips:

  • I would recommend creating a pfp (profile picture)

  • try testing out and playing with the libraries, especially the catch and throw blocks in the ITERATION, COMPOSITION library, check out the help screens for them too by right-clicking the block. (file icon > libraries)

  • read the snapblocks tutorial: Snapblocks have been added to the forum

ok i just re-read my post and realized it sounds VERY ai generated, whoops. Its not though.

It's not turbowarp's logo, it's a sprite from scratch's costume library, And those costumes are not copyrighted.
