Snap 7.0 feature hunt!

it's work in progress, a script-builder kinda library I'm playing with. What you see there is just a bunch of helper functions for other blocks I'm keeping outside of Github. This is definitely for (way) post-v7 to complete.

I see that you put it into the snap 7 beta, although, I don't think this is what's supposed to happen

I take that to mean just ignore it for now

Certainly not to comment on it working or not

Will there be an increased cloud-save size limit?

I doubt it. Jens usually pays for cloud storage out of pocket (according to Brian).

Hey! I found out that Snap! doesn't ask if you want to leave the site when there is no changes!

Oh yeah. That relieves one of those small, irrelevant to actual coding, irritations I had about Snap!.

Also, can a block receive a broadcasted message from a different scene?

That's fair... but I think it's fine because of the many things you can do with the scenes. I am making a game that has many levels, and I think it would be easier to make each level its own scene.

I noticed the title is now Snap! 7 - rc1 - Build Your Own Blocks

Recently, the version was a 6 digit number after "dev", something like "7 - dev211209".

No, it was just dev (Correct me if I'm wrong)

It was once that, then Jens changed it to what I said, and now it's "rc1".

@joecooldoo Now it's "rc3"

Oh. You're right.

Snap! 7.0 will release this weekend Snap! version 7.0 to be released this weekend

Now it's rc5.

now it's rc6

back to "rc3"

hard refresh the page so it updates the title
