Here I come crawling back again with yet another issue with Scratch: sometimes when there's this one kid who's arguing with you, saying something like "Okay Skibidi Toilet fan, go back to YouTube Shorts" or whatever, you'd get angry, right?
I sure did, some dude LITERALLY posted that in a way to roast me. So I said "Dude, just, your roasts don't work so just please stop." 2 hours later Scratch Team comes with a Mod Message saying "Your comment was removed because it's too mean...blah blah stuff about harrassment..."
The thing that PISSES me off is that the comment that I REPLIED TO DID NOT GET DELETED. And if anything my response was less rude than THEIRS. So why on Earth did Scratch Team delete my comment and NOT THEIRS?!
I know the mods don't want us crapping on Scratch over here but I do kinda think that when the ST receives a report for a reply, they should probably read the entire convo.
I know they'd probably say there's not enough resources, but that really only would take an extra minute and a half at most.
P.S. My main claim to fame in computer science is that my mom was Stallman's 4th grade teacher. I would come visit her class and every once in a while she'd say "Brian, take Richard into the back of the room and teach him some math." :~)
I can tell. I report their comments too and nothing happened. Scratch Team didn't delete the comment, nothing. But now that bh told us to...yeah...I shall just end off with this.
EDIT: Sometimes the Scratch Team deletes the comments even when no one reports them, probably because they think it's too rude and I harassed some dude just by telling them to please stop. That's probably the way it was in my case but whatever.
You're new here, so here's your first and last warning: We specifically disallow discussion of things you don't like about the Scratch Team here. You're welcome to tell us what you don't like about us.

Yet the predecessor of Snap! was built off of Scratch 1.4, and that is something I don't like, because that means no new Scratch stuff can be implemented into Snap! cleanly without changing it and making a library/putting it in a existing library.
that is not true. they literally can. though as i learnt it seems like Jens works on Snap! solo and he cant just add much by himself alone. the source code is weird though, but i love it.
??????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????? ...................................................................................................................................................................... Ok, I was talking about the library, not whether it uses built-in implementations.
