I am creating a gam rn and I've wondered, how I can redirect the player to another website, that will explain the rules. Can anybody help me?
That is impossible without writing JavaScript, meaning the user would need to go to the editor and enable JavaScript extensions. Why not include the game rules in the project or in the project notes?
not really.
Drag and drop the block to import it into snap!
but yeah, @gjhbvcsxjdhnbvlkdsmj, probably include the rules in the project, although using the block above is ok.
Okay, that's still okay but takes a little longer
But how do you get this block (maybe I should do both)
No, I just realized that this game has a 15 page google document for JUST the rules... (so maybe only the block)
Drag and drop the image into snap.
To other snap users
When you're sending script pics to new users, please tell them that they can drag and drop the image into snap, since that's not something snap tells them they can do.
yeah, for sure! I always try to do that, forgot this once.
what game is it?
Wait what? Now I get it
Chegg by Gerg (It's a game made in minecraft but can easily be recreated in other forms)
looking it up now (on youtube). does the block I gave you work? also, can you please share the project link?
i forgot the ecraft2learn library was whitelisted, very nice
also
no js go brrr
(nice)
Yes, it worked. But what do you mean with project link? The game is not finished, I just made the board generate and the 'lobby'. This will take a little time if I even finish it
if you click file/open/*name*/share, there will be a project link you can post so we can help you better.
Oh, no.The block didn't work. I just realized that I had the tab open and accidentely clicked on it. When I click the sprite with the code it doesn't do anything (it should do that when I click it)
Simply add a when I am [clicked V]
What do I do after I press 'share'? Open?
You just copy the url.
I already added that, that's why I'm confused
Click the text in the URL bar, it should automatically highlight.
Then, either press CTRL + C or right-click the text and select "Copy" then paste it into a reply. (CTRL + V or right-click the text box and select "Paste")
