Language Learning App (Part 3)

It’s an abbreviation and/or slang for original.

Search "define og" and you'll see what I mean.

Yes "OG" stands for original gangster but people use it for "original".

I found a translator but I'm still figuring out how to make a request to it.

What translator?

Free Dutch translation, translate Dutch - SYSTRAN We might have to use cors-anywhere.com and/or anyorigin.com

So "There are cats." is "Er zijn katten." in Dutch.

I'll go check if it needs cors.

@warped_wart_wars Oh no! It says on the website you have to pay to use the API. Although we might be able to get past the with CORS.

I don't remember how to use a cors proxy. I've tried
https://cors-anywhere.com/https://translate.systran.net/?source=en&target=nl&input=What+even+is+this%3F&domain=&owner=&size=&lang=en&type=corporate_website_box&srcurl=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.systransoft.com%2F
The preview thing here said it gave a 400 error, and Snap! gives this:

Yes. I got that too. Just remove the "https://" and it should work.

Which "https://"?

Edit: the one on the "translate.systrans...".
But I now get huge HTML:

Exactly. I'm trying to figure out how to split it up. I'm looking through the HTML code by Inspecting it (Ctrl + I on the website) but no success. I will keep trying.

I clicked the Rick roll video on your profile but an ad saved me.

It being "dQw4w9WgXcQ" should usually be a sign, but you use a touchscreen device, (iPad, iirc) so you can't "hover your mouse over it".

Good.

You can make this Language Learning App an AI that would learn from the user. It will then tone down the intensity of the lesson or scale it up.

This colab is dead….

Yeah, but it is also unfinished.

Yeah it’s been abandoned…
