i think it would be a much better idea to release it now in some way so that other people can start making apps for it
yes, that's what snip has felt like to me the entire time (filesystem and saving and all that still doesn't work, and i consider that a much bigger issue especially when it's been talked about so much)
besides it's also better to know about issues that might need a redesign now, instead of after you make all the programs and have to potentially change all of them to match
