I just attended a conference presentation in which a teacher described an activity in which children arrange black and white beads in a string to create a pattern.
It would be interesting if it were possible to hold the string of beads up to the camera, and use Snap! to recognize the pattern.
Could SciSnap be used to do this? Are there suggestions for a starting point? (Thanks)
The “snap!” Block in the pixels library turns the camera into a costume, you should then be able to do that and use color effect reporters

The ability to create a physical pattern with beads or other materials and then interact with Snap! could lead to some interesting possibilities.
