Yes...? Why?
just saying
You didn't salt them though
Well. I only salt strings when it use AES
?????
Meant to say it (the server)
What do you mean by salting the strings when you use AES?
I mean... AES just encrypt strings when their length (in bytes) is multiple of 16. That's why the server adds _
, the length and finally spaces until it can be encrypted.
Where did you get that information from? Also that isn't what's usually meant by salting
IDEA! Don't make [scratchblocks](CV data)[/scratchblocks] transient, sign in once and hash item 2 of CV data (the password).
What is CV data?
the variable required for it to work
Ok, but I would have to de-hash the password, which it will be hard to do... (and it is not intended obviously)
no, it's not stored in the server.
Huh??
I set item 2 of CV data to lolol, signed out, signed back in with my actual password, and it still worked.
The password stored in the server is hashed using SHA-3/512
Btw, I recommend you never share your password anywhere.
AND? IM JUST SETTING ITEM 2 OF CV DATA TO SOMETHING RANDOM SO PPL DONT SEE THE PASSWORD
I didn't share it tho
There's no way you can hide your password. I said it before:
