Scratch type lists are strongly discouraged over here 
They should be treated as stabilisers are on a bike - once you've learnt to ride - you should take them off
I just thought it would be fun to make, and it would be a good exercise at the same time as suppling something that fixes what I have some trouble with but still, it is fun to work on.
These sort of things ARE fun to work on

Well, just glancing at them, they are a lot of trouble to goto to just avoid saying set var to list
