why does this return an error? i know that this worked in my other project just a few days ago.

Use __shout__go__ to be sent in the block instead of the flag. It may be due to a bug with the new (un)select features.

thank you for the bug report. I'm sorry you encountered this issue while preparing for your class. I've just now fixed it and released a patch that - I hope - lets you use broadcasts and sending messages across scenes again!
