gpu issues don't have to affect the whole screen, they can have tons of different symptoms. when i had a dying gpu (hardware issue) it would usually prevent assets from loading in intensive games. not all browsers render canvas the same way either and different methods could very easily not trigger the bug. valve had to contact gpu manufacturers during half life 2 development to get them to fix driver bugs that were affecting their game.
the issue not happening in kiwi browser is odd considering it's also chromium, and android and chrome os share the same browser engine between every browser. you basically just ran the same browser with a different ui.
if the issue isn't in multiple tabs i'm not sure what you meant by this?
A plaintive request for people to use thread titles that make it possible to have some idea what the thread is about -- especially in the bug reports category.
I mean, the issue happens in multiple instances of Snap, but if one tab is completely messed up, that doesn't mean the other tab will be. Also, the affected areas go away when it's updated (like dragging the block bakery over it).
Also, I don't know why my GPU would be failing because my Chromebook is half a year old
kiwi browser has chrome extension support so I'll make an extension that automatically redirects me to forum.snap.berkeley.edu\latest whenever its on /categories its fine
