Was audio encoding on safari fixed?

So today I went onto a project business as usual and then somehow the sound played!

I’m using safari and the sounds played! I’m not talking about the instrument blocks, the play sound blocks, worked!!
Was this added or did something change for safari?

I found sound to work on my iPad as well. If it’s here to stay, that’s just great.

still doesn't work for me
(I mostly use Chrome though)
