I'm pretty sure I saw someone actually do that. I don't know which project, but it is possible through JavaScript.

I'm highly limited by a school administrator and it still worked fine for me. Maybe it's because all the prefix.github.com sites technically count as their own websites, so it would be impossible to block them all.
The second one links to a snap project, that should be the one you want.
