Okay so it is called Video taker it is my attempt on making a video capture project on snap! Here is how it works:

  1. Press red button/green allow camera access
  2. Idk do something in front of your camera if the screen is still white don’t worry it is still recoding
  3. Once you are done press the green button then press the play icon. The pause feature doesn’t work yet. And to take another video stop the project and then press the green flag again

Now add a way to delete the video, which can be done by:

delete ([all] v) of (my [costumes V])

Also, I suggest you rename this topic to a more appropriate title that distinguishes your project from others, like "Video taker".

Hi kingnico, I can’t find my camera, so I can’t test it, but I can imagine the result !

Some questions:

  • Is there a reason for using 1 and 0 instead of thue false in your project ?
  • Did you reach the 10mb limit quickly if you want to save the project after a capture?
  • When you delete all costumes, you lost the 1st white costume, is it ok?

Well at the time I didn’t really think of that.

After im done taking a test video I delete all the costumes so when I save it, it doesn’t have my face in it and when i save the project it is not even 1mb!

Idrk i updated the project right now i hope it works

(you try to swich to “true” or “false” costume…)
Try this instead:

i test a recording of 3 sec: 129 mb: you can’t save a video on the cloud !!!

if you use Dardoro’s block, 3 sec: 3.8mb !!! (wow!)

I don’t think it’s a good idea to do this, since someone could remix the project, record their face, and publish the project with their face in it
