Transparent fill in image editor

Is there a way to fill an area with the "trasparent" color in the image editor? Am I missing something?

Yes. Under the hue and lightness color picker box, there is a grayscale color picker bar. Under that, there are three options from left to right: black, white, and transparent.

Are you talking about the color-bucket/paint bucket thing that Scratch has but Snap! doesn't?

Thanks. I hadn't noticed that gray meant trasparent

The solid gray gradient bar means gray. It's the checkerboard that means transparent.

I'm really proud of transparent paint. It's so hairy to do the equivalent in Photoshop.
