Tick/Heartbeat

I made a game that it has a tick or a heartbeat per say, but the problem is that all of the clones have the same heartbeat. ive tried just putting the script of the heartbeat into the clone itself, but they all still are on the same beat? is there any better way to do this?

Why would you want different heartbeats for each clone, if the point of a tick/heartbeat is to sync things up? Could you share the project so that we can see what’s going on?

its closer to a defense game, you know how depending on when you can place them their out of sync?

Oh, ok. Do you use different heartbeat scripts/broadcasts?

I put them in a forever loop on when i start as clone

Sorry if I am intruding here, but…
Did you want the clones to be out of sync but have the same rhythm, or did you want them to beat faster/slower?

out of sync, same rythym.

So you want something like this?

Not creating clones on delay, the clones i make have a tick every second that check for nearby enemies-the tick starts when the clone is created. BUT for some reason no matter what, the clones all sync together no matter when they were placed.

Are the clones all being made at the same time?

no, you can create them whenever you like. it doesnt matter when they are made they still sync.

Are you using broadcasts? If you send a broadcast, clones will receive them and run the script under the hat block.

yeah, when a button is pressed, that sprite tells the sprite that is to be cloned to clone themselves.

Do you have a project link? That will make it easier for us to help!
