The TuneScope's electric finger bass is out-of-tune shifted by around 15 Hz.
Here's how to replicate:
- Load TuneScope library.
- Do this:

- Run the block.
- →
The sound is out of tune.
I used Audacity and recorded the computer sound of the sound above. Then I used a plugin called Pitch Detect, and resulted in 455 Hz, which is supposed to be 440 Hz. (440 Hz is actually A4, but TuneScope intentionally sound it one octave lower, so the script says A5)
You can also use a tuner and you may see that the tuner app says it's out of tune.
Can this be fixed?
I'm not sure I understand. The script you show is playing A5, and you say that the audacity plugin you used also says A5, but then you say that's wrong. What's wrong here?
Also, it's not exactly due to tunescope, it's due to the midi soundfont library they're using (though technically they could fix it).
A5 is 880Hz, not 455, and it's supposed to be playing A4, which is 440Hz.
Yeah, after testing, it sounds really out of tune.
this is true, i tested it with the nintendo dsi tuner and it detected A as a B flat
It should, since snap's audio comp library also says it's Bb.
Then again, it is also rounded to the nearest note.
But if we remove the rounding
