Is it possible to get a male voice by using the Text to speech library? I seem able to get only female voices even by using very low values for pitch (it seems that the minimum is just 0).

The voices depend on the browser and/or operating system. MDN doesn't have any information about gender in the SpeechSynthesisUtterance object. https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/API/SpeechSynthesisUtterance
