Super Translate

This project takes text, translates it to a random language up to 100 times, and translates it back to English. It's amazing how different the result can be!

What I just typed translated 100 times:
The texts used in this project have been translated 100 times into any language and then translated back into English - it's amazing how different the translations can be.
(Usually, the changes are more drastic.)

for me, it keeps glitching because the variable " (lang) " starts at 0. otherwise, great project!

(@ego-lay_atman-bay, why did (lang) become black?)

Fixed that. Thanks!

It looks black to me, too. IDK.

I have no clue, and I don't think it's some translation issue.

That's fun !

Input: "hello"
Output: "Euphorba"

It really is crazy how even small inaccuracies in translators can make any input come out so drastically different sometimes.

You don't even have to translate! Haven't y'all played telephone?

P.S.:

Sorry, but what's the point of this block..?

Huh..?

This is so cool I put I like to code in and it said I would like to register!

Interesting!

Reminds me (and concept is exactly) of the Bad Translator extension for Google Docs!

also reminds me of Ravbug's Hypertranslate

This reminds me of a project I made years ago that did pretty much the same thing.

@mr_owlssssnap2 I translated some blocks 100 times.

Those are two of the things that inspired this.

Somehow it can sometimes translate gibberish; I once put in gibberish and it came up with "The Rhino of the Islamic Republic of Iran." :rhinoceros: :iran:

Wow you just made a gibberish translated too!

lol.

Ohh okay idk how I missed that lol

If you can not eat, there is nothing to do but wait.

Wise words

It's satisfyingly fascinating to see how it turns out. Are you going to continue translating blocks?

I might, but I don't exactly have a lot of time on my hands. I've also had an idea: I'm thinking about using this to translate the entirety of Snap, and not just the blocks.

I've now created a block that functions like the project:

It's because lang is a shortened version of language (in the Scratch 3 Snapblocks). Again, you need to make styling exceptions.

Also, I believe someone out here knows what this actually says:
click! Children and adults will enjoy learning about programming languages and computer studies.

I thought I did set the extension color for the snap style, but I guess I didn't. I'll have to fix that.
