Snaply wasn’t worth the take anymore since I had little motivation, so I’m now focusing specifically on the Snap! runtime.
The editor and anything specific to it won’t be included.
Much of Morphic will be stripped away.
But you’ll be able to make a clone of the turbowarp packager to turn your projects into websites, or run Snap! headlessly.
If anyone wants to help just open an issue on GitHub - 8to16/SnapRuntime: Snap! without editor
So, you can run projects without the editor? will all the libraries and features be included and would it allow unrestricted javascript if you were to run it headlessly?

I assume so. I hope this project actually goes well! (It might be hard to implement sprites and processes without much Morphic)
love how it mentions byob. but why not just use split?
will it be compiled to run faster then?

I’ve heard that Snap (and thus Split) is slower than Scratch.

Is there some reason we want this thread on our forum?
because someone made it? I don’t get it, how is this not ok?

Why are you using Morphic—or Snap! , for that matter—at all? Just compile project XML files into Javascript.
I actually started a project months ago that does just that
github is weird, try now
split doesn’t add new blocks and also is not compatible with existing scratch projects unless you use snapinator, which nukes 50% of your project

can’t wait until we get Split-inator xD
So will morphic.js be used for only things like the sprite and stage?

Not about Snap! . It’s about the OP’s independent software development.
