Snap Dark Flat Theme

I've finally updated it to save the theme, and when reloading, it sets it back to that theme. It took a while, but I'm glad I managed to do it.

Wait @here actually notifies all the people here? HUH

it does, but there's not really a reason to use it since you'd see the topic on the home page when someone replies.

It started when I used it (I already knew it did that)

wondering if javascript:(function(){[enter code here]})(); would also work

I've finally fixed the button shadow in light theme, so now it looks so much better.

Could you change it from dark to light? Mine is stuck on the dark setting. Also, do you know how to change that setting on everything, including the forum?

There is no way for me to do that, since the forum is not on the same domain as the snap editor.

What do you mean? If you toggle flat design, it does not change the theme, only 3d or flat. When you toggle light design, or dark design, it should change the colors.

I just made a bug fix. It wasn't updating the button outline color when loading the theme from the setting. This has been fixed.

Alright, thanks. Sorry, my Snap! account has not been working lately.

A few years later, I'm starting to use this useful userscript. Sorry for necroposting, I'm still using a little too less brain power /j

Snap seems to have added this theirselves now, meaning this script now has no use
So could we lock this topic?

(no necropost intended)

Why does the topic need to be locked?

Also, it technically still has some use (although I'm not sure how well it works), since the light default design here doesn't have black borders around buttons, like it does in snap.

This script (ok, it's a screenshot of my mod that includes this script):

Snap:

why would you even come back to this topic to ask that

I've noticed a few differences between the user script and Snap!'s bright mode, and I'll make a list of them:

  • The Snap! version outlines the buttons darker, while the script outlines it a light grey
  • The Snap! version gives more depth to the search / add button
  • The script uses a drop shadow with the title of the project and the selected category
  • Snap! still uses the IDE lines like the default dark mode

Oh! You're right, @ego-lay_atman-bay , I totally should've adjusted the PushButton outline color to the bright theme, the current button outlines are waaay too black-ish. How about something like this:

Would y'all like this better?

That looks pretty good

thanks! I think I'll change it in this week's patch...

I do like it, but I do prefer the search and add button to be darker.
