Sing-Along Creator

I made a program in which you can create a sing-along. Check it out!

That's a clever idea! It's a good use of the microphone.

Its user interface is a little clunky; the user has to time each line manually; that's the sort of chore that computers are good at. I'm envisioning a program in which you just sing the song (or play a song from a file) and you hit some key on the keyboard for each new line. The program would store the value of the timer and reset it. And instead of the user having to tell the program in advance how many llnes are in the song, the program would remember how many times you hit the "next line" key. (A different key would mean "no more lines.")

I made another program that's probably better: txtxtxtxtxt by geokid | Snap! Build Your Own Blocks
[It doesn't have sound because a) I don't have a microphone and b) I don't have access to sites where I can download audio files.]

Link doesn't work for me

Works for me.

Nice and simple. Too bad Snap! doesn't let you alternate inputs: line, delay, line, delay, etc. Maybe someday.

I think I'd like it better if, when it reddens the next chunk, it would also blacken the previous chunk. So one bit at a time would be highlighted. Shouldn't be hard to do. But, of course, it's your project; do it how you like!

Hmm. Never thought of that. I'll start working on it!

?

The sites that I can access are restricted. For example, Google and GitHub are blocked, so I can't visit them.

google??

My parents don't want me looking up things I shouldn't.

so how do you search stuff up? yahoo? duck duck go? or are those blocked too.
Also, how do they block it? If its firewall, do they have a seperate network they use

I have upgraded the project. Aside from BH's idea (thanks @bh), I made a few other improvements.

nice
unshared

Simple: I don't.

They make a list of sites I can access, and all sites not on the list are blocked.

Not any more.

oh, sorry

It's not bad; my favorite sites are accessible to me.

well thats nice

Yeah. Let's stop talking about it now, since it's off-topic.

yup
