Hi, someone have a trick to add shadow under a sprite?
(same as when the flag draggable=true and you move the sprite with the mouse)
(without js and without stamping)
You could try something like this
One great thing about this is that the shadow isn't part of the costume, but it also follows the sprite around.
If you want the edges to be more blurred, you can do this
However, it is noticeably slower, and I'm not sure of a faster way of blurring a costume.
By the way, I took inspiration from the in the Outlines and Halos library for creating a new sprite and attaching that as the shadow.
That's perfect, thank you! I will adapt it to my project !
Is it your own block ?
That's brilliant! So cool that users can program such effects.
Yes, but you can use it without credit, I made it for you.
I know
For some reason, it doesn't work for me:
FYI, I was not using the Turtle costume.
your sprite need to wear a costume before using the block. It work with the current costume...
It was wearing a costume. That's what I meant by...
can you share the project
Well, I wasn't testing it in a specific project; I had nothing except the outline block and a black square for a costume. But here's a recreation if you want it.
you can watch the malfunction here !
Oh, that explains it! I tried various shades of gray with it, too, and none worked.
Never mind; I had a brain fart. Long story.
bh: is it a bug?
Sure. Don't hold your breath for it being fixed.
