Can you please separate the delete button and the duplicate button? I just deleted a sprite that I tried to duplicate and all my code is gone.
Either that or make an undo button or an are you sure question. Thank you.
This isn't an argument against your suggestion, but if you saved the project before deleting the sprite, you could try to recover it -- Click Open in the file menu, click the project name in the list, then click Recover.
