So we can certainly click and click for each input we want in a variadic input, but what if we could use tab to create new inputs if we are in the current last of inputs. So let’s say you are on the last item of the list of inputs of the variadic input and you are finished up with the value you want, but you want to add another value and need to extend the variadic input. Instead of having to click on the arrow or doing insert slot you could press tab and it would automatically make a new slot for you at the end. Also when you have any empty input and you press backspace it would be helpful for it to delete that slot. This would make adding and deleting inputs for variadic input much easier.
Dunno about backspace, because it’s too easy to type an extra one when deleting characters from a slot. But yeah, I like the tab idea. Jens has been super busy lately but maybe when things slow down…?
But what if theres another input slot after it you want to get to?

Perhaps these two should be shift-based? Meaning, to add another slot or delete one use Shift and THEN tab/delete.
But wait… Shift-Tab goes back!

Thus, maybe Alt instead?
Off topic: I’ve started using ScreenToGif for these tiny test recordings and I’ll KEEP using it! It’s nice to recording mouse presses or key presses and is useful when you dont want to upload a video!
My proposal for keyboard shortcuts to not shadow other common shortcuts, like shift+tab, use alt+left/right arrow keys. Nothing uses those combinations and I feel like they’d be pretty intuitive.
that keyboard shortcut is already used to go to the very beginning or end of some text.
Actually, its for moving word-wise:
