Hmm I don't see any obvious bug in your code, but when I run it, both sprites end up at [0,0].

Yes you are supposed to enter nothing, then drag them around, copy the save code, and restart.

I did all that. It still puts them both in the center.

Did you paste the new code into the ask? If this doesn’t work, please record a video of the whole process and send it.

It is a value you are trying to set as the X of the sprite.
