funny way to draw regulars polygons with 2 attached sprites
It's a Jacob's ladder!
I made the second sprite blue to show that, but to my surprise they seem to move together:
Why did I use 2 sprites? Because I'm lazy!
(I could have used just one sprite, calculating and changing the new rotation center after reaching the right angle)
How it work:(basically)
The 1st sprite has its rotation center on the right.
The 2nd sprite has its rotation center on the left.
repeat
..attatch the 2nd sprite to the 1st
..rotate the 1st (the 2nd automaticly rotate with the 1st)
..stamp
..detatch the 2nd
..attatch the 1st sprite to the 2nd (the rotation center is now the 2nd)
..rotate the 2nd (the 1st automaticly rotate with the 2nd)
..stamp
..detatch the 1st
Yeah I guess I shouldn't have been surprised. I got that they were nested alternately (that was my point about the Jacob's Ladder) but I expected to see one dangling off the end of the other rather than having them superimposed.
i remembered that from when i was a little kid but had forgotten the name until i saw your first post on this topic
That makes more sense. I thought you ment a Jacob's Ladder.
Oh! Yeah I forgot about those.
Like the one made by ElectroBOOM.
