Please ignore this! I'm trying out some HTTP requests to figure out how to post messages.
reply test
How did you login with the API?
You can't, theres replies
I didn't, I couldn't find out how. I only used a reply to record it in the Network tab.
Oh
The server admins need to give you an API key to post messages. Sorry.
oooooorr you can use token stealing
Nah. That's stealing.
Plus, illegal (in Canada). Tiny detail.
use what?
Put malware on a Snap! team member's computer to get a copy of their computers. Again, a stupid and illegal idea.
Also really hard I'd imagine. They would probably download and open a txt file or an image files, potentially a zip file, but I think they'd be suspicious about an exe file
They would just grab their own token, not some snap team member's token (seriously, what would they even do with it?). That's also technically not stealing, because you're using a token that is already being used by your browser.
yeah, can't you just record the network request and reverse engineer it from there?
Yeah, exactly.
Oh. Nevermind.
