oh, okay
Sorry if this is necroposting but did this project get scrapped or decommissioned?
I think it is, but I really don't mind.
Nothing happened with the project, I just haven't updated it for a while. Now that you brought it up again, I'm thinking of working more on it in the future, especially with reordering, editing, and deleting libraries. I've been working on other personal projects, so this has kind of been in the back of my mind for some time now.
TLDR: didn't think about it, and haven't gotten to updating.
Oh ok just was curious if it was closed if you don't want to update it anymore i can try.
Well, I’m bored. So I might as well work on this mod a bit again. And maybe create an SDK for Snap! if I haven’t already mentioned it. Anyway, this mod will be worked on in the big ol’ 25. So, I’ve made some plans for myself:
- Create an online library where people can upload their own p-libs
- Simplify the code
- More file extension support (xml, json, txt)
- Some fixes to prevent errors
- “Copy Personal Library Storage” for devs who have some reason to review and edit their libraries
- Features I’ve already promised
and more, hopefully. ![]()
Yay thanks I’ve been waiting forever!
oh, cool!
it’s been so long, glad to see you’re gonna be more active with the project!
Could I work on the online library?
I’m gonna host the list of libraries on GitHub, so if you’re talking about integration then sure!
any update?
Idea: Allow libraries to add custom buttons to categories (see the 3D Beetle Geometry and the S4A Connector libraries for examples).
(not meant to be a necropost)
That will be an idea for the Crackle version of the mod. ![]()
Also, I’m not too worried about necroposts for my dev-logs. They don’t lock for a purpose. ![]()
I have to reply here because I currently can’t reply on the main thread for CrackleSDK. I don’t have push access, and I NEED it to push my changes! I can’t use a pulll request. Even though I’m in the organization, it doesn’t allow me to push. Maybe also set me as a “Maintainer/Admin” (you can do that in Github) ; )
Edit: The message on the main thread actually DID send. Whoops
