I was working on my game on my school laptop, and i got logged out, and when i logged back in it says my password is wrong, even if i use my saved password.
idk, I’m on my school Chromebook now but I got logged out and I signed back in with another device and I got it back, also did it happen while you were making the game or just randomly
i typed the same password saved on my home computer that USED to work dosent work anymore.
are you going to make another account or just stay on your home computer
i don’t know because i don’t want to make a new account.
idk, maybe try later or just update your school Chromebook.
Did you ask for a password reset email? From the editor, in the cloud menu
there’s a “Reset password” item; in the community site there should be a “forgot password” link on the login page.
i did that, but my school doesn’t allow emails from websites other than google.
Good grief. When you’re at home, send us an email at contact@snap.berkeley.edu and we’ll send a password reset link. Be sure to mention your Snap! username (not password) in the email unless it’s the same as your email address.
@random_guy Can you try again before resetting your password? It looked like there might have been an update on the server in the last day or so that I just fixed up.
thanks!
Okay it works now!

Thanks for confirming!
And sorry for the trouble! I was improving the security of passwords, but needed to make one small update that causes folks to otherwise reset passwords. but we should be all good now. (And existing password all work as intended)
