I think we will agree that we can’t wait for Snap! in Snap! in Snap! once this is complete!
I will be willing to help!
Oh no…
Sounds interesting, I’m willing to help
oh lord I can smell the performance issues from a mile away
I can help, but I know this project will probably die before November (they always do)
I made this last month or something (forgive the name, it was meant to be private) that may help.
That’s certainly a starting point. I might remake it later with some of the missing functionality (mostly just a flexible block border and showing input values, I couldn’t be bothered to make it typable right now)
looks cool can I help?
Alright, I think I know how we would go about actually making this.
I think this would be better in the long run rather than trying to work around the existing Snap! systems, since then we could do pretty much whatever (with the only downside being possibly less performance)
I think I explained exactly what was happening poorly, so here’s a flowchart that hopefully more accurately describes it. Basically in Snap!ception each block has an “id” that is linked to a block or set of blocks in Snap!. Then, all of the inputs the user put in on the Snap!ception side are fed into the linked block on the Snap! side.
I have another project that draws block borders, but iirc it isn’t the most accurate and I’m not sure how well it works (because I haven’t touched it since January)
hmm intresting
I can help just tell me what i need to do!
I’ve actually already made this before you can keep it if you want or improve it Snap! Build Your Own Blocks
wow i’ve been inactive for a month thanks to me working a bit too much on my scratch mod since i initially started this.
and no we aren’t just going to put snap! in an iframe and call it a day. Also updaing the name to be more or less silly.
Well, I don’t suppose I was wrong, was I?
There are always some that survive. This was one of them
The project hasn’t had any development since September?
What if I was secretly working on it but never said anything? (i wasn’t)
