Mess up

(I don’t know which forum topic would be the correct one to use, so I am using this one)

What if there was a mess up option which makes the script for already made blocks (example the effect block) very long and showed you what blocks were used for that block. Because in some block editors, the blocks are already messy but some are squeaky clean (which is mildly frustrating when you’re trying to make a block similar to that specific block)

Just right click on the block and press edit.

I needed to reread that. yeah ik what your talking aboyr

This is what you are talking about right?

yeah!!! I was specifically talking about the effect blocks.

Oh okay good! Well you are welcome.

So here’s the thing, the effect block needs that primitive. For the move (10) steps block, you can edit it as it is possible to make with other blocks. But for the ([ghost V] effect) block, that NEED to call into Snap! for its behavior. You can’t “create” a block similar to ([ghost V] effect) without using the block itself.

Thus, there cannot be a “mess up” option, as that wouldn’t even be the option (it doesn’t make sense, it doesn’t mess up anything, it would simply just add more blocks (?)

oh. Yeah that makes sense

Switching to a costume with reduced alpha values

or you can set a variable every time the effect is set (though that wouldn’t work for the set block)

this doesn’t work with the get block

This, probably; because it gets the effect value
