Something that’s always annoyed me is the lack of rounded corners and contrast in flat design, as you can see at the top part of the image below:
I would greatly like rounded buttons, menus and dialog boxes with outlines in Snap!, there examples shown at the bottom of the image above.
umm, the whole point of the flat design is to make it look flat, rounding kinda defeats the purpose…
I see. I do agree that my suggestion would make flat design less flat; but with half of the buttons merging into the background and the lack of round corners, flat design becomes too flat for me.
yeah i get it, there isn’t really a good middle ground
maybe someone can make a userscript to change how the flat style looks, but i don’t think any of the devs will be changing it soon
It’s really only the non-existent contrast that annoys me, things can stay without the rounded corners:
If contrast is the issue, then fear not, the devs are working on a high contrast theme.
Wow, wow!! The buttons have outlines!! I would still like them rounded, but this is far better than what we have now!
