Is there a difference between reporter and predicate rings?

Idk really why I thought of this
But apart from being technically different data types, is there anything that one can do that the other cannot

Like all our type indicators, really, the (internal) shape of a ring is a reminder to the user of what's expected in the slot. If it's a predicate ring, what's expected is a function that reports True or False.
