is it against the community guidelines to create a topic about your project?
i know al large part of the snap! community is the forums, especially considering you can't comment on projects or studios or anything like you can on scratch, but is it OK to start a topic for your projects, to get feedback and answer questions?

Nope! It's encouraged. That's what the Share your Projects category is for.
