I discovered the start of [sb] (current [time in milliseconds V])[/sb]

(yes, i know the snapblocks prob wont work on titiles)

So, I did a bit of tinkering with time formulas, and after doing this:

I discovered that (current [time in milliseconds V]) starts from 1970. Someone could probably get the month and day too, but I'm too lazy for this.

Now we know, that the block is like the days since 2000 block, but instead of days and 2000 it's milliseconds and 1970 I suppose.

ps: where did scratchblocks go lmfao

It got replaced with snapblocks, since snapblocks is better for the snap forum (and the snapblocks plugin is 100x better made than the old buggy scratchblocks plugin (not actual scratchblocks, just scratchblocks on the forum)). You can actually change the block style just by doing

[snapblocks=scratch3]
(days since 2000)
[/snapblocks]

(days since 2000)

The start time being January 1st 1970 is actually just the first date and time on your computer. It's called the unix epoch. i don't know why scratch decided to choose 2000 instead,

Yeah, I know abt Unix Epoch

I've a couple of blocks to do datetime stuff with

untitled script pic (63)

What? I didn't even know you could do that. :open_mouth:
snapblocks \(scratch2\) :: control pretty much old Scratchblocks :: motion inline script {hello::pen} :D :: grey
snapblocks \(scratch3\) :: control as seen in current Scratch :: motion inline script {hello::pen} :D :: grey
snapblocks :: control the default settings :: motion inline script {hello::pen} :D :: grey

Are there any other settings that you have with [sb]?

Edit: while messing around I decided to use extension names from Scratch and it works on the Snap theme too!

The ones below do not have a category color replacement, so they default to black.

what styles are there?

snap, snap-flat, scratch2, scratch3, and scratch3-high-contrast.

You can also see them all at https://snap-blocks.github.io/.

Oh, that's a weird name for that. Thanks!

Wait, they're not supposed to default to black... guess I didn't check that out.

I didn't come up with the name, that's the name that is used in scratchblocks.

That is also the name used inside of Scratch itself:
