Why this is look like a scratch 2.0 revival site?

more accurately scratch 1.x, Snap! started as a scratch mod but eventually became its own program, adding things like first-class (basically having blocks being able to report them) lists and blocks, letting you do cool things

The reason it looks like scratch 1.4, is because the devs like how it looks, and I agree, it looks good. It's definitely not a carbon copy, in fact, there are many differences (and it looks far better), but it's still similar.
