How to turn on push notifications?

in your preferences, go into the notification tab (not the one at the top), and under live notifications, click "enable notifications"

If you aren't getting notifications, you might need to enable notifications in your browser. Just click on the lock icon in the url bar, then there might be a toggle for notifications. If it's not showing up, click on site settings, then enable notifications there.
