How to load a project or sprite into your project using a script?
The discussion "Can a project save itself?" (Can a project save itself?) shows how to save a project using a script.
Please tell me how to load my project from a file on my computer using a script.
If this is possible, how can I load a separate sprite from a folder on my computer into a project using a script?
This was discussed in How to get the xml of a sprite using JS - #5 by ego-lay_atman-bay
But I can't figure out how to apply this in practice. Please help.

I really need help!

(Sigh.) If that's really your picture in your avatar you're not even a kid, but you're not getting that the forum isn't a real-time chat. Your original post was in the middle of the night in my time zone, for example. And you're asking a highly technical question; not just anyone will know how to answer you. I don't, for example. Unless you can do what you want using scenes.

I'm not really a child. But I'm not a programmer either. I'm a teacher who started teaching CS and programming basics to schoolchildren (and in a summer camp).
Internet access works intermittently. At such moments, I often try to get as much done as possible. Especially if my students pester me around the clock.
If I offended anyone, please forgive me.

It's okay, you're forgiven. I was just in a bad mood because I was having a fight with Jens on another thread and I hate when that happens. :~(
