How to get developer blocks

Shift-click the Snap! logo and click "Switch to dev mode"

and you'll get the following:

This would be another topic that would get the developers questioning us using it...

How do you get the console in safari?

I wrote that

Actually, I was using the Windows computer at the time I wrote this topic.

(didn't mention that before you posted)

Am I the only one who doesn't understand why "play hz for 2 seconds" is a dev block?

Nope, you're not the only one.

Just go into a text input, tap the shift button twice (don't caps lock, just turn caps off then on), then tap on the snap logo. This only works on ios, so there's no solution for android yet.

Oh, I didn't know that

I think maybe there's already a simple workaround for that.

I'm not 100% sure about that particular block, but a lot of the ones in that list used to be official blocks that have been replaced to give a more uniform interface or to make programming easier, but are still included in Snap!, albeit hidden, so that we can load projects written in an older version.
