im making a horror game where you are in a car but instead i nee the backround to move so the sprite doesnt go of screen
You could use a sprite as a "background" or make the game scrolling.
Check this out: Penguin Racing by joecooldoo | Snap! Build Your Own Blocks
is there a way to make the screen scroll vertically
Yep! Just replace all the movement script with CHANGE Y blocks.
And maybe some other changes as well
okay.
the issue that i have is that the game is from a verticle veiw above the car
(if you want i can post the project so you can see it)
EDIT: here is the link https://snap.berkeley.edu/project?user=oofpaste249&project=car%20road%20traffic%20sidewalk%20drive%20game%20thingy
