Can you provide more context?
If I had to guess, it's probably suggesting potential filenames Snap! projects could go as rather than the .XML they are downloaded as. IMO, I don't really mind the fact that Snap! projects use the generic XML filetype, but I guess it could be annoying to some if they have large amounts of files.
I just keep all my snap xml files in a snap folder, so I know what is isn't a snap file.

is not a thing, and changing the filetype every year makes no sense since unlike scratch, a new version is not a rewrite, but just an addition to the code.
