oh, the glitch is caused by the if <t> { } section of the if <> { } else if <t> { } $<> block, i think the <true> makes it default to that response, you just have to fix the conditions to make it work properly (you also had an empty <(answer) = []> which would have made the girlfriend response not trigger either way)
