Code Help

Can anyone help me? So I got this pizza sprite and it has 3 costumes, Raw, Cooked, and Burnt, for some reason when the “doneness” variable reaches the certain number, it doesnt change the costume, I need help!

please share the project link. as far as I see your code’ll work.

Swap the if statements for cooked and burnt so the one for if <(doneness) > [90] @<:> >::control comes first.

The reason why it refuses to show that the pizza is burnt is because that as soon as the pizza updates to show that it is burnt for being over 115 in doneness, then right after that, it also updates to show that it is cooked for being over 90 in doneness. 116 is greater than 115 and 90.

You could also click the black arrow on the if block to get an else if statement, which will only run if the first if check is false.

Ignore this unless you are into deeper discussion

Yes, I know one can do that, but just so you know, this topic made me feel uneasy expanding if ().

but that’s if you are using a hidden, experimental setting that people aren’t intended to use.

I have been using it ever since it was added, and I haven’t ran into any issues, mainly because I don’t mess around with hidden settings or edit primitives on large projects.

I mean I have had no problems expanding if blocks ever since because I haven’t played around with any settings

As long as you don’t mess around with settings, you should be fine.

Also, you don’t need that precise of positions, a X of 2 and a Y of 72 (without any decimals) would work fine, and even shorten the length of the project file!
