Can someone explain hyperblocks to me?

I've been hearing about hyperblocks in Snap! for a bit now, and I've been pretty interested in them, there is a slight problem though,

I don't know what they are.

So if anyone would like to tell me what they are, or how to use them, that would be pretty cool.

Hyperblocks is just stuff like adding lists together.
