Call ringified expressions in JS

So, suppose I have a variable that's content is just some ringified blocks. In my scenario, I'm passing the ring to a JS function, but for me my JS function receives a Context object with no calling function in there. Can someone help?

This isn't advanced. If you want your own JS function to "work" with Snap rings, this is well outside the scope of Snap, and by asking this question here you demonstrate that you're so not ready.

In a previous topic, someone said all JS things should go into advanced help with snap. Maybe there should be a subcategory for JS mixed with snap help to avoid cluttering?

The thing is, jens doesn't like people talking about javascript on the forum, because it scares away nee users.

I think the best thing to do would be to create a category that is hidden from the recent posts for new users, the user would have to go and enable it.

Haha like the JS extensions setting but on the forum

I like that idea.

Or if you've already been a user for 1 or 2 months, the category will automatically open up, but you can still enable it before if you know what you're doing.

please stop.

having the humility to ask for help is a strength, not a weakness. it shows a willingness to learn.

Agreeable though, isn't it?
