Block help Please

So I’m making a block and I wasn’t it to say suburbs if the sprite didn’t do somting here it is.

untitled script pic 2

So what i want it to do is if the sprite didn’t move i want tit to say somting and if the user entered a number wrong like -6 i want it to say somting diffrent. I tried to make it do that but I can’t get it right. (PS: the block works i made it myself too)

It is because if you do move (--6) steps :: motion it won't trigger an error. Also, you can just use the untitled script pic (1) or ((0)-(number)) for this.

untitled script pic (1) can be found under Upgrade Ping Pong script pic (9)

what do you want to be done? I'm kinda confused by the wording.

say or error?
like this?

Thanks this is what i wanted!

you're welcome!

Bro

Just a reminder, some potential users of this project aren't bros. :~)

I’m pretty sure that in current slang, “bro” (or “bruh”) can mean the roughly same thing as “sheesh”.

ehhh this isn’t really accurate. It’s more like a generalized term for a person, usually used in the context of a mistake or inaccuracy.

I know. Guess illl just change it.

It’s more like a generalized term for a person

Among adults, at least, a “bro” is an obnoxiously manly man. More specifically, a “tech bro” is someone like Elon Musk who comes out of Silicon Valley startup culture and thinks writing an app is the solution to every social problem. It’s used as an insult, among us lefties, but the bros themselves wear the label proudly.

I am well aware of this information. I was making the definition of bro among newer generations more accurate to how I’ve seen it used. Also from my experience it’s not inherently true that adults use it like that, it just depends what groups you’re both in-person and online.

Anyway, I smell American politics creeping up on this post and I would rather excuse myself from discussions like that (especially in a place like the snap forum)

Anyway, I smell American politics creeping up on this post

Maybe it’s just an American thing, although I’ve seen “bro” used that way in the Guardian. But anyway, my intention wasn’t to start an argument but rather to suggest that at least some people would feel insulted by being addressed as “bro.”

I didn’t think it was particularly intentional but it gave the same impression as people who do it intentionally to start an argument or change your opinion. If I had to take a guess it’s because of the extra political details that weren’t necessary to answer the question.

The whole post could have been boiled down to “Among adults, at least, a “bro” is an extremely manly man. Among some groups, being called a “bro” is insulting.” and it would have meant pretty much the same thing

I don’t want to be pretentious telling a dev/mod to do this but I would suggest typing in a less politically influenced way in a public non-political space like the Snap! forum.

Anyway for real this time that’s the last thing I have to say since this is getting very off-topic

I see, it’s the “tech bro” part you’re objecting to. Whatever. I included that because it’s part of the reason some people take “bro” as an insult. Not meaning to start an argument.

The “bro” was @kingnico1133’s chosen error text, I would have never have done that originally!
