yeah there is no primitive way to do that,joecooldoo almost did that but its complex and confusing

Maybe you could drag the arrow that appears in the block itself as if it was an upvar

No that won't work.

I meant if this was added, an extra thing could appear in the hat that would look like an arrow, and it would k report the number of inputs added in the block
