i mean the single character symbols like the full block █ fill the screen but that one in particular shows up as a squished rectangle

and the $square $circleSolid you can set it to that it just makes the full label text multiple times longer. i just chose one of the single characters that seemed to line up nicely.

Hey! They have friends, it's just that the friends are 12-year-old mathematicians or something.

There were never a ton of them, but there are enough. And there's a continuum of wizardry. I mean, everyone has a 12-year-old grandkid or something who can set up your smart TV. Probably half of everyone knows a 12-year-old who can take your computer apart and add more memory.

And, the ones I have in mind write their own video games. :~)

Yeah. I wish I could have Snap! in Baskerville, but I'm sure that would mess up the spacing somehow.

I don't think it would, since snap calculates text width based on the actual width of the text, not just guessing what it would be. Height, however, is just an assumption (it's just font size * 1.2), so vertical spacing might be an issue.

My mod called "Snavanced!" have character fonts only in files because some operating
systems do not have them (also, I learned online about to upload custom fonts for the DOM).
For example: Candara (Windows only), sitelen seli kiwen asuki (custom font for Toki Pona), etc...

I forgot about the ability to change the font in your browser settings, although it's still not practical for a snap project to tell you to install, and set a custom font for the project to work.

Yes, but the are some practical manners to upload fonts only to the selected environment without the
user's action. Changing how strings and multilines can select font names was the best idea ever. :~)

I mean, if you're using javascript, then it is entirely possible to do it without users having to do anything, I was mainly just talking about it without javascript (which, honestly I should've admitted, rather than trying to defend my point).
