I changed the touching 🟩 ?::sensing predicate
block to report the color, and it spits out
so I made the pen color block let you use variables in the color input, and it doesn't work
This doesn't work, because the color input doesn't technically report a string (it looks like it, but it's actually a javascript object). However, I feel like the set pen color block should just accept strings and then convert them to the javascript color objects.
You can use color inputs in Snapblocks like this.
touching [rgb(0,252,91)]?
touching [rgb(0,252,91)]?
oh ok thanks
I always found it weird that color inputs don't accept strings
just stick the js object reporter in a join block.
That's because it doesn't accept strings.
the question was already answered, please don't post for no reason in the future.
(ok why was this flagged)
i know that now
Flagging a post means you are asking a moderator to look at the post that you have flagged and ask for his/her opinion. I mod on a lot of communities and users "think" that if they flag they have to also give a public opinion on the post flagged. Why? You already flagged it, so why make another post. If your flag is approved and for instance, the flagged post is removed, there is still your post that is going nowhere.
By giving an opinion, you could start an off topic discussion about the flag and not about the topic. By giving your opinion, users who got flagged could feel attacked. By giving your opinion, you in essence want to do the work of the moderators.
The best practice would be, just flag a post if you think that is necessary and let moderators handle the "problem", nothing more nothing less.
I personally have not flagged a single thread on this topic. I was talking about how my post was flagged :)
It was flagged by someone because, instead of flagging the post you had questions about, you gave a response that was considered inconsiderate by someone. And let's not start a discussion about what is inconsiderate and not. So the person who flagged your post did exactly how it works. Just flag and let the rest be decided by the mods.
ok
